THE LEADER IN LONG DISTANCES TUNA DETECTION TECHNOLOGY !
TUNA BUOY Inmarsat Dplus System
A. COMMUNICATION THROUGH INMARSAT NETWORK
B. SONAR
C. POSITION, DRIFT, SPEED, WATER TEMPERATURE
D. RECOVERY FLASH
E. SOLAR PANEL
F. ROBUST CONSTRUCTION
G. LOW CONSUMPTION
H. SECURITY
TUNA Buoy has caused a revolution in tuna fishing since it shows the way the currents function, gives precise information about the current drifts and the exact hours the fish gather together, changing the idea the ship captains and skippers had up to now and proving that we were wrong regarding the hours the fish gathered together aroung the objects adrift.
This Buoy has become a fishing tackle and an essential tool for tropical tuna fishing.
Another amazing feature of this Buoy is its longevity. There have been Buoys which, following the currents, have crossed the Indian Ocean twice from one side to the other, and which is even more surprising is that these Buoys have crossed the Pacific Ocean twice following this route: Buoys launched at 100 miles to the West of Chile Coast, moved along the South of Ecuador towards the West reaching the waters of American Samoa. Then, they went up to the North of Ecuador and moved to the East along the coasts of San Francisco, Mexico and reached the Galapagos Islands. The important thing about this is that these Buoys were giving information about the currents in the different zones and about the fishing gathering along this incredible course. All the information was displayed, all the time, on the ZUNIBAL Controller & Tracking.
This Buoy has a fishing tracking system which is in the van of progress.
We have mentioned the most outstanding TUNA Buoy features, which are not included in any other system on the world-wide level.
FEATURES
1. Sonar
The most important feature of this Buoy is the Sonar system ncorporated that shows the exactly quantity of tuna that is under each Buoy till 400m depth and around.
Now Captains know how many tons of fish there are under each Buoy in each moment, before even bring the vessel to the rafts. Imagine how much money in petrol and time you could save with this.
The sonar system is checking permanently under the Buoy and giving information about the exactly quantity of tuna and other information (as how the school of fish are increasing or decreasing, the reasons,
'the hour of the maximum fish concentration').
The system has also a 'Fish Alarm' incorporated that advises to the Captain when there are 25 Tons of tuna or more, so they can go to the Buoy and take the catch.
Of course, the TUNA Buoy also supplies traditional information needed for fishing, for example, tracking to know positions and currents movements, water temperature, speed, heading, battery status, flashes to get the Buoys by the night or during dark days.
2. Consumption
The TUNA Buoy Sonar IV has an automatic rechargeable battery through Solar Panels incorporated. Solar panels load the battery even in cloudy days. The battery is always full working at 100% so the life period of the battery is unlimited (5 years warranty from the manufacturer). It is not necessary buy more batteries and spend more money. It is not necessary any mantenaince.
3. Security
Other systems of Buoys in the world use two meters antennas to transmit, which are detected by the radars or other tuna vessels. Then they are easy located and stolen.
TUNA Buoy Sonar IV built in Inmarsat Dplus system that use a very small antenna located inside Buoy which can not be detected by radars or stolen.
Otherwise, this Buoy is not possible to be used by another vessel because the communication is by Inmarsat Satellites, directly with the Controller & Tracking equipment on board the vessel.
This system is secure and confidential.
